Top rating for medical training therapy
With 900 medical training therapy subscribers, 1,400 outpatient and 3,800 inpatient treatments per year, Bethesda Hospital runs a very successful medical training therapy programme. This has now been awarded the top classification of a maximum possible 5 stars. This makes Bethesda Hospital the only hospital in Switzerland to be awarded this certification.
Top rating for medical training therapy
The 5-star FULL TIME CARE MEDICAL classification certifies proof of the following quality features:
- During opening hours, at least one qualified member of staff is present in the training centre to "dynamically coach" customers during training and is available to answer medical questions (without a pre-arranged appointment).
- Individual counselling and introductory meetings with a health questionnaire and training plan. These are tailored to the customer's needs.
- Endurance equipment for at least 5 types of exercise is provided.
- Various group fitness courses are offered within Bethesda Hospital.
- All staff have valid first aid training and are trained in the assessment and initial treatment of acutely ill or injured persons.
One of the most important factors in the success of this classification is the quality of care and training provided by the staff. Outpatients and MTT customers therefore benefit from the renowned Bethesda Physiotherapy team.
Additional certification Fitness-Guide medical
The additional designation "Medical" means that, in addition to the physiotherapy team, medical specialists are also available to help customers/patients with pain or questions about the training plan. This enables interdisciplinary cooperation and networking.
