8. April: Movement Day - making movement visible in acute hospitals

To mark the Day of Movement, Swiss hospitals are focussing on the topic of "physical activity in acute hospitals". At Bethesda Hospital, we are also drawing attention to the importance of exercise today with an information stand at the hospital entrance.

The aim of the campaign is to sensitise staff, patients and visitors to the topic and to motivate our inpatients in particular to take more exercise. Even small, adapted units of exercise can make an important contribution to well-being and recovery in acute hospitals.

With today's stand, we would like to show that Exercise is also important in everyday hospital life - and is often easier to do than you might think.

Encourage your movement and take part in a trial training session at our family-run MTT centre!

Bethesda Hospital as a prime example: Top marks in the Swissmedic inspection!

Quality in medical device reprocessing is the foundation for the safety of our patients. We are extremely proud that our expert Reza Rezai (Head of AEMP) reported on the outstanding results of our last Swissmedic inspection in the latest IGWiG podcast.

A model pupil for patient safety

In the discussion with the Swissmedic experts, Reza Rezai was emphasised as a "model pupil" and Bethesda Spital AG as a "prime example" for the entire industry. This accolade is the result of professional expertise, discipline and uncompromising quality standards.

Why we are proud of our processes:

  • Zero critical deviations: Thanks to meticulous preparation and internal audits in accordance with Swissmedic specifications.
  • Structural independence: Cooperation between the OR and AEMP on an equal footing, creating clear responsibilities.
  • Management support: Quality is a top priority for us - the hospital management fully supports the high standards of our reprocessing.

Sharing knowledge for the industry

It is very important to us that other healthcare facilities can benefit from our experience. The transparency and professionalism that Reza demonstrates in the podcast reflects the values that we live by every day at Bethesda Hospital.

A big thank you to Reza Rezai and his entire team for this great success and their daily commitment to the highest medical quality!
